What makes our child program standout?
Our children’s program is a blended program with a family centred approach.
We firmly believe that although we are the experts in the therapies, the families are the experts of the child. Throughout a session, we may combine several different types of treatments and techniques to meet your child where they are at and to help them progress. We believe that every child is unique, therefore we do not take a "one size fits all" approach to our kids program. Different therapies provide different motor and sensory inputs to the child, thus constantly challenging them with novel tasks and driving neuroplasticity. By combining different treatment techniques, we can build programs that fit the child's specific needs and goals. We believe that every child has the ability to communicate. Communication may look different for each child and may go beyond verbal communication. You have to be willing
You have to be willing to listen and to understand not only with your ears, but your eyes and other senses. Communication has a lot of subtleties we often fail to recognize. When we take the time to truly understand the child, that is when the magic happens! There are no limits to what your child can achieve. This starts with education from us and carries over into the home environment. We try to build homework into the daily routine where possible as we know our super parents have a lot on the go.
