ReYu’s Intensives are short, focused bursts of daily therapy designed to accelerate progress through repetition and neuroplasticity. Unlike traditional weekly sessions, intensives deliver concentrated support tailored to each client’s needs—building momentum day by day for stronger, lasting outcomes.
The Intensive Therapy Model is a practice that involves high frequency and intensity of interventions over a short period of time, which is showing strong evidence for better results. By providing increased frequency of therapy sessions in a short amount of time, we are able to see greater gains faster and build upon skills day by day within the shorter time frame. Intensives are aimed to maximize the child’s potential for functional improvement, independence, and overall quality of life.
Each program is tailored to the child’s specific needs, strengths, and goals. These programs emphasize repetitive practice of functional tasks and movements to promote neuroplasticity and reinforce and strengthen kinematically correct gross motor and fine motor skills. A child’s intensive can range from 1-3 hours a day, extending for 1-3 weeks. Parents and caregivers are actively involved in the intensive and by the end, they will learn techniques to support their child’s progress and help carry over therapeutic strategies at home. It is recommended that intensives are booked four times per year.

Families play a crucial role in the intensive therapy model. Parents and caregivers are actively involved in the intensive and can learn techniques to support their child’s progress and help carry over therapeutic strategies at home.
For best results, it is recommended to complete intensive blocks four times per year.
