HEIDI

Meet Heidi, a dynamic fourth-year kinesiology student at the University of Alberta, on track to graduate in summer 2025. Her journey began as a summer hire, but her passion for neurorecovery quickly transformed into a full-blown career aspiration. She’s now pursuing her dream of becoming a neuro exercise specialist with a zeal that’s infectious!

Heidi’s favorite part of her role is empowering clients to reach their full potential. In a field where individuals with disabilities often confront limiting beliefs and stereotypes, Heidi focuses on possibilities rather than limitations. This optimistic approach fuels her dedication and enthusiasm for helping clients thrive.

Hailing from a small Saskatchewan town, Heidi’s roots run deep in farm life. Growing up, she spent her days riding horses, playing sports, and soaking up the great outdoors. After high school, she followed her passion to the University of Alberta, committed to making a difference in people’s lives. She’s still deeply connected to her rural upbringing, with four horses and a beloved dog that bring endless joy to her life.

When she’s not studying or working, Heidi is all about staying active and having fun. Whether it’s hitting the gym, riding horses, enjoying outdoor adventures, having bonfires, playing volleyball, running, or spending quality time with family and friends, Heidi knows how to balance hard work with enjoyment.

Heidi specializes in working with adults, and her dedication to helping others is as strong as ever.
